Celebrating our 25th year of serving the Brooklyn community this recognition is a testament to our founders’ – Joe and Carol Reich – hopes of having a lasting impact on the lives of the under-served youth of Brooklyn.
“Wow, such wonderful news - we are so grateful! Our kids and staff work tremendously hard each day and this is such a great recognition.” – Yvette Ferrara - co-principal of BwCCS2 lower school - after reading the NYSED announcement.
The Beginning with Children Foundation was founded by Joe and Carol Reich on their deep belief in education’s power to transform children, families and communities. Its schools are located in Brooklyn communities where roughly a third of families earn less than $25,000 per year. Our hard-working families face economic hurdles and strongly believe that a quality education is the path to improving the lives of their children. We give every child an equal chance to be well educated in a free public school with excellent resources, from Kindergarten through college. The Foundation established its groundbreaking Legacy Network program in 2003 to provide comprehensive support for graduates transitioning to high school and to college.Make a fully tax-deductible gift today to support Beginning with Children's Legacy Network and our Schools!
